Behind the flowers
"I've been building things my whole life."
Thirty-five years of florals. Hundreds of weddings, workshops, and farewells. I've been in hospital rooms and at altars, around workshop tables and at gravesides — and what I know is this: flowers show up when words can't. I'm an accredited member of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) and a Certified Evaluating Judge. But what I'm most proud of is the way people feel when they leave one of my workshops or see their wedding florals for the first time.

Held at the cozy, stylish B-Side Lounge, this evening pairs beautifully with what’s coming out of the kitchen and bar at Venable Bistro. Enjoy comforting seasonal dish, a glass of wine, or a well-crafted cocktail to sip while you design. Come early if you’d like to order food and drinks and settle in before class begins.

Grab your girls, your favorite guy, or just your fabulous self — it’s time to herb your enthusiasm and get a little flower-happy with us!
Herbs, laughs, and zero stress. (Because the only thing wilting tonight will be your worries.) You’ll build a one-of-a-kind floral design, sip something tasty, and leave feeling lighter, brighter, and blooming with good energy.

Welcome fall with a hands-on, creative, and cozy. 🍂
Join us for an evening of wreath-making where we’ll design a beautiful fall wreath full of texture, warmth, and seasonal charm. This class is relaxed, approachable, and all about enjoying the process while creating something you’ll be excited to hang on your door or display all season long.
We’ll be gathering at B-Side Lounge, which means you can truly make a night of it. Food and drinks from Venable Bistro will be available to order and can be served directly to the lounge for our class. You’re welcome to arrive a little early, settle in, order a cocktail or dinner, and ease into the evening before we start designing.
